What do you specialize in?
I specialize in working with the hardworking, therapists and small business owners of Hawai’i who feels like there’s never enough time for “me”. Struggling with overwhelm, stress, and burnout? I’m here for you. Whether you’re undergoing challenges within the business, compassion fatigue, or just have overall stress with your day to day responsibilities, I’m here to assure you, you’re not alone. Life can be challenging and my goal is to help you navigate through those challenges to create a more fulfilled life.
What will therapy with you look like?
Using a person-centered approach, therapeutic sessions are tailored to meet your personal needs and goals. As a therapist I walk alongside you and guide you in discovering your own power and strengths. I believe therapy is most effective when there is collaboration within sessions. While I cannot promise that with therapy everything will be “fixed”, I can assure you that therapy with me will be a safe space where you can feel heard and validated.
Treatment Focus:
Stress management within your business and as a therapist
Anxiety and Depression
Self-esteem issues
Life transitions
Conflict resolution and communication issues
Do you work with clients outside of Hawai’i?
Unfortunately, I only accept clients who are currently residing on any island of Hawai’i. If you are not on Hawai’i and need referral sources, please reach out to me and I’d be happy to help.
How often do we meet for therapy?
I meet with majority of my clients on a weekly basis. To ensure a strong foundation of therapy, I ask all new clients to commit to a meeting weekly for a minimum of 6-weeks. I may recommend increasing or decreasing the frequency of our sessions depending on what best meets your needs.
How long will I be in therapy?
As a solution focused therapist, I do not believe that you have to be in therapy forever. Most of my clients feel they’ve met their initial goals in 6-9 months and feel they no longer need therapy.
I also have other clients who choose to stay in therapy longer for the added support and to address new goals they may be tackling.
